As the Marketing Assistant, you are to be a welcoming, well-spoken (written and verbal) member of the Farro team, passionate about contributing to memorable guest experiences and building long-lasting relationships with a diverse array of guests from all walks of life.
You are passionate about social media and not afraid of crafting engaging and impactful campaigns, comfortable taking to new software. You understand the key elements and finer details that make a positive marketing image. You are a team player, with a creative mindset and a passion for good Italian food.

Commitment
- Hours: 20 hours per week, 70% working from home, 30% working from Farro venues
- Must be available for at least 2 hours, 5 days per week
- Days can be of your choosing (it doesn’t have to be Mon – Fri)
6-month commitment after completion of a 6-week probation period
Mains Responsibilities
- Social media management: Create, schedule, and publish content on various social media platforms
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for advertisements, email marketing, and social media posts
- Analysing and reporting: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to improve marketing strategies
- Creating landing page on word press
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to internal communications in MS teams within 24 hours
- You will be responsible for the Farro social media accounts. You will be in charge of responding to comments and interacting with our online community during your work hours
- You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to manage and improve affiliate and influencer programs
- Develop and support creative marketing strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Venue Managers
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, tailoring content to different customer segments to maximize engagement
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; warm, welcoming, friendly, personable, professional
- Be comfortable working autonomously in a self-directed environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High aptitude for following workplace guidelines, procedures, and policies
- Creative and bubbly personality with a passion for marketing and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies
- A passion for good Italian food
Not required but a plus:
- Experience with SEO, AdWords, Meta Marketing, and copywriting
- Experience with content creation software (illustrator, photoshop, canvas etc...)
