Reporting directly to the Executive Dean, School of Nursing and Midwifery, the Associate Dean will continue to build momentum related to regional growth in the South- West and the development of courses and research through innovation in research, teaching and learning.
This significant position will provide representation on senior management groups within the School, represent the School externally at a national level, and in industry and provide leadership in industry consultation, student experience and quality improvement.
The successful applicant will be appointed to a full-time, continuing position as Professor/Associate Professor (depending on experience), with an initial fixed term (3 years) Associate Dean (Regional) appointment.
Salary Range
The base salary for Professor (Level E) is $205,952 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation.
The base salary for Associate Professor (Level D) is $160,672 to $176,649 plus 17% employer superannuation

Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (as a nurse or midwife). You will also be required to demonstrate personal attributes that align with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
To be considered, you will have:
completed a PhD;
completed qualifications in education and/or can demonstrate educational experience within a tertiary or clinical setting;
a sustained track record of research related activities within a tertiary education or clinical setting; and
demonstrated a sound professional and academic track record in rural and/or regional nursing or midwifery.
