Early Childhood Educator - Centre Based Care Certificate III

• Located at Port Fairy Community Services Centre

We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator to fill a permanent position within our Port Fairy Service.

To be successful in this position you will need:

Qualifications

• Essential – Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent or evidence that the applicant is working towards obtaining

• Essential – Employee Working With Children’s Check

• Essential – Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma

Experience

• Essential – Demonstrated prior experience in an Early Childhood Setting

KSC 1

Strong understanding of the Regulations, standards, frameworks and codes for Early Childhood Education

KSC 2

A friendly and approachable manner, with the proven ability to gain cooperation and work as part of a team.

KSC 3

The ability to be creative and use initiative to assist in the delivery of a program that meets the needs of the children attending the service, and is in accordance with relevant learning and quality frameworks.
