About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Assistant role will see you work within a friendly, hardworking and supportive team. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Warehouse Allrounder with good communication and customer service skills. You will enjoy working collaboratively with the warehouse team and have a proactive can-do attitude.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Receive and put away stock
- Process and fill customer orders
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders
- Loading delivery vehicles
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktake
- Working with our internal procurement team
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy manner, free from any workplace hazards
- Adhering to all WH&S policies and legislation and reporting any workplace hazards
- Delivery of stock to customers as required
What are the skills, experience and attributes required to be successful?
- Current Drivers licence
- Current Forklift licence
- Prior experience in a warehouse would be highly regarded
- Pick and pack experience
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Understanding of WHS&E obligations
- Customer service focused
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
